Post subject:  help needed
hi guys. i'm new here and have been following some of the posts here and even trying some tips. anyway..i kindof need some help with this girl on facebook. so..a little backstory. she lives in my hometown but she is originally from a russian speaking country.we are facebook friends but haven't actually met. so..she posts on her wall both in english and in russian. she is HB9. i thought about what message to send her and i went with a direct, honest approach. i said : " hi...my name is ___ and i would like you to teach me russian because i can't understand most of the things you post on your wall :))... i sent you this message because i think you are a very cute girl and i would like to get to knopw you." ...not the most inspired thing i used but that's it. she replied quite soon saying "hey...sorry but i don't teach russian. :)) ... it's enough that i know it" ...so...is this a shit test or is she uninterested..i think she's uninterested but what would you guys reply? thanks guys

I have to agree with lusitanpua, time to move on. Here's what I would have changed though:

Skip the formalities. If it's on facebook, she already knows your name. If she hasn't figured out by now that you're messaging her because she's hot and you want her, you've certainly removed all doubt of that.

Replace "I would like you to" with "you should". You are not asking for permission.

When there is a language barrier I personally think this is a great opportunity to be playful. You can turn it into a game i.e. "Tell me something in Russian and I'll try to guess what it means.", if you are bilingual, "I'll teach you something in ______ if you teach me some Russian." (Good chance to DHV) or maybe as a neg, "I hope your Russian is good cause I could use a lesson. I could teach you some English too, seems like you could use it :P" Don't say you need to learn Russian to read HER wall. That doesn't demonstrate preselection, it demonstrastes neediness. And you need to be negging her, not complimenting her. She hasn't earned a compliment yet.

nah don't worry about the above posts

what you should have done, was keep talking to her, instead of freezing up and comming here, why did you stop, she says she doesn't teach russian, so? who cares

''well that's sort of gay, you don't teach russian?, what do you teach?''

and keep talking

has she gone completely non responsive and stopped talking? or did you just stop talking to her? keep going till it's dead for sure, practise makes perfect

what do you want? to have sex with her? move things towards that ends then, don't get caught up and start reacting to, she said this, she said that, is it relevant to your ends?, if not, ignore and continue

not only this, but you're already focused on one hotty, when you obviously don't regularily talk to girls, get good at talking to all women first, before you set your sights on one woman

and try to do this in person, instead of over facebook, avoiding things you find frightening or uncomfortable will actually stop you from getting better instead of help you

pumpington is right. You opened like a pussy, but who cares.

Her answer is just a shit test. Just keep talking to her (try not to bore her). Most girls are used to creepy guys talking to them first and then bailing out at the first sign of rejection. You have to prove her you are different, that you have the balls to talk to her, and that you don't care what a random girl thinks. Make her enjoy your conversations, don't make them sound as an interrogation, be funny, whimsical, and aloof. Don't fall into her frame. If she doesn't teach russian, that blows. She must be bad at teaching, have bad social skills, or just nervous of being alone with you because you are too handsome. Try to get into that mentality: you want her, if she does not, well, that's her loss. You are not affected in any way by her rejecting you. Even better, you are just getting experience and learning from it.

If you don't get the girl, don't worry. If you just walk away now, you are not getting her either. Don't worry about what she will think about you, she will respect that you didn't bail and that you kept going for what YOU wanted, not because of other people's desires. Ironically, what makes you cool in front of others is not caring about what they think of you.

Girls love "the notebook", that crappy romantic movie. The main guy there didn't care about getting rejected. He proved to her that he was different, that he was worth more than the others by doing things others didn't do. He showed her he had BALLS. In the end, that's what matters, girls love guys who have balls. By having balls, you automatically demonstrate high value.

Just try not to be a creep and/or a stalker.
