Body:So...I'm 40 and I've been divorced three times. I have four kids...but the good news is I’m finally getting a job. LOL

Ok, so seriously...I'm 31 and have my life together. I'm a very social person and like to spend most of my nights out; oh and I’m all kinds of sarcastic so you'd better like to laugh!

PS - If you respond by asking me to dinner and a movie the engagement is off; I don't care how much you love the three carat rock... ;)

Well I don't eat dinner or watch movies so I guess we're safe . . .

I am currently in transition and living out of my car, changing in parking lots, shaving my legs in the starbucks bathroom, and eating out a LOT - as I just returned from a year overseas and am still looking for a home.

But not to worry. I am a teacher and don't plan to be homeless forever.

You opened her with a crazy humoristic line and she answers with the same humor, and yet, you aren't sure about it? Would you exept her to be all serious and shit after what you just wrote?

I agree she is just joking, and mirroring you.

Problem is its a shit test and you fail either way. If you ignore it your fail cause she will think you have no standards, I don't know how you make her qualfy without losing your frame and looking like your not funny.

I didn't ignore it. I assumed humor and told her I gave her bonus points. Now it's an inside joke that I'll use later. Unless she does turn out to be a psycho. I've used that opener a NUMBER of times and have a baseline for responses. This one is unique. Maybe that's a good thing.

So..here is the reply:

I just backpacked around the world. I took a total of 16 showers this year and have been wearing the same two sets of clothes for longer than most people own underwear. If you rolled by and asked me to go camping right now I'd tell you to set up my tent at the holiday inn. A girl needs a break now and then. . . and I don't own any COach bags

She sent me a few pictures from her trip backpacking around the world. This is actually pretty cool. But uh...not sure how I feel about hooking up with a girl who is living out of her car.

Jeez man. She doesn't live out of her car - she's just had the time of her life going backpacking. Again she is being funny and witty about it. I wish I was chatting to her - she sounds great. I love that spirit of adventure thing.

Lol nope, hate to disappoint everyone but she wasn't screwing with me. I met up out of total curiosity. She was actually pretty cool but had way too many issues to keep my interest.

She did in fact just get back from a multi country tour funded by hand made jewelry sales. And was staying in her car/crashing on friends couches. Sexy, fun but also looking for 'the one.'

I cut the thread on this one.
