Post subject:  Two Openers. Which is better?

I had a staring competition with a girl I was gaming the other day - that is, we had to stare at each other and whoever smiled or blinked first lost. I came up with two openers for when I next want to talk to her on facebook.

#1. "I perfected my stare-off skills for when I next see you. I'm staring down my dog as we speak."

#2. "My dog was staring at me before and it reminded me of you, so I stared him out for like 10 minutes, I hope you're ready for round 2"

They're both pretty similar, but the first one is more humorous, while the second includes a neg since I'm associating her with a dog. Both of them imply that we're going to hang out again soon.

I think I prefer the second since she's a really attractive girl so a neg seems suitable and, based on Michael DeAngelo's material, girls love to hear that you think about them. But I'm still undecided! Really it doesn't matter which one I use, so long as I'm not triggering the auto-pilot response that "Hey, how are you?" gets. I'm just curious as to what you guys think of them.

first one is better because in the second one you call her a dog

on a scale of 1-10 they are both under five though

try Darth Vader approach

message a girl saying........

I would remove that picture of your profile if I were you!

and she will respond 98 percent of the time

and then say

hope you can take a joke lol! I just thought you look adorable and wanted to say Hi!

My name is .....

and then go from there

I'm not actually calling her a dog, I'm subtly implying it by saying that it reminded me of her because it was staring at me (we had a starring competition at this party) - she'll know that it's a joke.

The Darth Vader approach isn't applicable in this situation because we already know each other. I don't like that approach either because it's silly to say "My name is..." when your name is clearly on display to her and secondly I think it comes off as pretty cringy.
