I like that little opener you are thinking about using, i think itll work fine. If not and you strike out, if you get lucky and see her in the college, you can just walk up to her and be like "Hey! You're that girl/stalker(playful) who randomly added me aren't you!" . Either way man it's chill and don't worry too much about it, just keep it interesting, playful and spontaneous. Online openers are hard to do but you can also just find a picture where you see her doing something weird or she seems out of the ordinary and tease her about it in the opener like "Your elbows look big on photo___! You're not photoshopping your pictures are you?
