Ok so a while back I was chatting up a girl in a bar. Turned out she was friends with the womens son I was out with. I didnt get her number. I added my friends son and found out she was on facebook so I added her. We had a few chats about mens fashion and I asked her out on a date right away. Didnt hear anything from her for like 5 days so I messaged her asking if she was even curious as to where I would take her and told her she was no fun. Two days later she messaged me back saying she did reply to my first message but the 'stupid weather' messes up her messages.

So she has said she works a lot and its hard for her to book days off but she can try to get a day off.

What should be my reply? How long should I leave it before I reply?

I was thinking about saying something like
'That was close, you nearly missed out! Im pretty busy too but I can skip swimming on a sunday. Do you like ice cream?'

The thing is as i live in britain which has the shittest weather on earth dates can be hard to plan unless its dinner or lunch so maybe saying 'do you like italian food?' and taking her out for lunch would be better!

"That was close, you nearly missed out! Im pretty busy too but I can skip swimming on a sunday. Do you like ice cream?" comes off as confident, but also has some humor about it.

I would not ask a closed ended question such as "Do you like ice cream" but rather make it a conversation starter "What is your favoriate flavor ice cream?" One only requires a conversation killing "Yes or No" answer, while the other requires her to think about her favorite flavor which is emotional for girls, and then she can start to relate that "yummy" sensation to you. Also it gives you the ability to Neg her on her answer!

Peace...
