I was hitting it off with this girl on POF and we were talking about going to an icecream parlor etc, and we were joking around, and being flirty and such. and then i went for the number close. Never replied. did i close too fast? erg |

Hi, It's quite possible that you went in for the close too soon. Don't worry, it's not a big deal. And you should go in for the close rather sooner than later. Sometimes when girls are put in a situation where they don't know what to do, they just freeze up; like a deer caught in a headlight. That's just their nature. Don't be hard on them for it. Your next step should be to reassure the girl that you're not in a rush to meet and that you want to chat some more with her to get to know her a little better (this is to make her feel more comfortable with you and loosened up).. Talk to her a little bit more, tell her more about yourself, then when you feel the time is right, go in for the close.
