Does this mean she likes me or finds me attractive enough to accept? Or does she just blindly accept friends and it means nothing? I will list the clear facts below and I have been accepted friend request a few times from different girls with this criteria: -If it's clear or semi-clear that we have not met before -(Im from a school she's probably never heard or a school she has heard of but it is still clear we havent never met or spoken) -We live in the same state, same county though -I just send a request but she looks hot without sending a message or anything. She accepts -She accepts but does not ever message me or anything (I figure this can mean a few things: 1. she is just blindly accepting people for whatever reason like raising friend count and has no interest to message me 2. she is shy or curious and is waiting to see if I will message her 3. ??? cant think of anything else. Maybe something in between these two) And guys I am no 'stud' and half of these people I request have denied my request. But some have accepted. I just randomly see a hot girl and request her, not often though. I am interested but I honestly only average in looks, some people see me as good looking, a lot of others see me as a nerd. I figure: if she accepts and has like 2000 friends, she probably doesnt care. But some of these hot girls dont have that many friends (1000 or lower) and accepted me. Also another problem is hot girls are rarely ever online for fb to even chat |

You are really really overthinking this. There is no possible way to tell what something as minor as accepting an online request means. You'd be much better off just relaxing about it and seeing how things go when you talk again. Look for real indications of how people react to you and don't try to read in too much to a single possible indicator. |

if she has thousands of friends, probably did not mean much. If she has a lesser amount... still won't mean much. Now its time to seperate yourself from all the afc 's that hit on her. |

why would it not mean much? i dont go around accepting just everyone. a girl i didnt know at all requested me. she was not hot so i denied. i dont want some creeper adding me |

It does not mean much. Most girls accept random requests unless they are stuck up or have a personal rule against adding strangers. The acceptance can't be considered an IOI. If they message you after the add it is an IOI. Even something as simple as "Do I know you?" is generally an IOI. Although, if they don't initiate you, it is not an IOD. Most girls will only initiate if they find you extremely attractive or intriguing (Which is a small percentage of girls out there..unless you are famous or have some other form of extreme social value). |

Research tells us that we only have an actual social network of 150 people. If a girl has well more than 150 friends then she probably just accepts anybody. If she has around 150 friends then she's probably interested in knowing you as a person |
