Post subject:  She's interested but not willing to give out her number.
Hi guys, so I have a short conversation with this HB last night, she seems interested as well, told me that I'm cute and attractive. Since she's so sweet and easy to talk to, I decided to number close her, but she said she's too shy to giving her number out but she has an app called instagram, asked me if I have it and told me to download one and "follow" her. I was like WTF?

So my question is how to get her number and start the texting game. I don't wanna stay too long on the internet chatting thing with her.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

My first instinct is that she is seeking attention. Although it sounds like "twitter" to me and it may be a DLV to follow her, go see what the "instagram" is all about and if it seems legit then use it as a tool to game her. You should be able to figure out pretty quickly if she is just seeking attention.

Note: Girls like to have many, many, friends/followers (Makes them seem popular) to other girls.

instagram is an app that you can edit and add special effects on the pictures, also kinda like a blog/ twitter, let people to follow them and see what kind of pictures they posted on there.

I've never use it before but they don't have messaging function, it's almost impossible to game her there, she said we can messaging here (POF) instead. And I agree with you it's seem DLV if I go create a new account just to follow her.

Should I game her a bit on POF chat first, build some comfort and then try to number close her or ask her for SPAM instead.

If a girl is interested in you she will give you her number period. The fact that she didn't says otherwise. Best to move on to the next girl.

Facebook is your next move with that girl. "Hey, you should find me on Facebook...I just want to make sure you're not an ax murderer or a 40 year old man on his living room couch."

Don't give her your name...make her ask for it. Same with numbers...I always say "I'm not big on the online dating thing, I much prefer meeting in person. Text me and we'll go for a walk around the City" (no number...95% of the time..they will ask for it or give theirs. You haven't asked...and so she can't deny you)

Once she's on facebook, chat for a couple minutes. Maybe use a few routines, ex: "My friend Chelsea and I are having a friendly debate and need an outside opinion. Who lies more, men or women?" ***I did NOT invent this...it's from the forums***

Chat with her a bit...then...use the phone number line I gave you above.

Great advice Mig,

Is it possible to game her on FB and ask her out for a coffee without even getting her number? I mean I can get the number after she agrees with the meet up, right?

I'd always get the number. I always use steps. I sometime skip facebook (to save time) depending on the girls comfort level, but...I'd never skip the number. There are a pretty large number of flakes, and also a large number of directionally challenged girls. The number is a good way to build a little rapport before you go on a date..

PS...skip the coffee. It's a tough date to win her over. Do something that has some stimulation (not caffeine) there already. Mini-golf, comedy club, or my personal favorite...a motorcycle ride to my favorite cliff jumping spot where we then drink mini bottles of wine...

A girl will give out her number to someone she likes chatting to because he has given her the impression that he would be fun to chat to. Most guys go online and try to get the number skipping an important step which is getting her to enjoy chatting to you, so the first step should be chatting her up not for the sake of it but with the aim to potray ur interesting charming self that she would benefit so much from keeping the communication from and just when she is having a good time u can go " would love to chat more but I gotta go throw ur number but promise me u don't sound like my grandma wen u call) u know u are going to call but make it look like u expecting her to call.

A girl is more likely going to give her number if she is interested in you than anything else.
