Post subject:  Is this a shit test?
After exchanging a few messages on facebook, I decide I want to see this girl so I send her this after a few days of inactivity (she's been at university and got back around the time she initiated contact):

"Hey, am out tonight if you're back in town. If not, let me know when you're back we'll meet up. P.S. You're never on facebook chat, you suck :P"

She replies within a day apologising for not been on facebook chat, and saying that she is back but "doesn't have ID with [her]" so "won't be out any time soon...". I'm in the UK and she's 21 so not sure if I believe that - don't know if she's making an excuse, or shit testing me. Opinions on how to respond to this?

I think she's quite popular - there are like 3 posts on her wall in the past week from guys asking her for drink.

Hmmm, maybe something like "Thats ok, I don't need your ID, I know you're 21. So where did you say we're going?"

But note that I don't know your situation with this girl.

If other guys are asking her on a drink, you have to be the guy who is different.

Make a joke about her excuse then tell her;
"It's fine, but you'll have to make it up to me!
Give me your number and I text you when I'm free sometime"

Text her the afternoon of a date night (Monday, Tuesday Wednesday) and tell her to meet you somewhere. Have the place picked out before you text her. And if there are a lot of guys asking her out for drinks, be the exception, think of something else fun to do!

You are too needy in this post, you are asking if she isn't busy to hang out with you if shes in town than saying if not lets do it some other time...

instead say

as for your question how to respond

Ewww... You dont have an ID, what are you a girl scout, please dont sell me cookies, I promise to be nice, also if your not scared of doing some espionage, we can sneak you in. Itll be like a james bond scene, except Im bond, and your just some random extra.

Thanks. Yeah I realised after I sent it that was a mistake...

Thanks for everybody's advice. Yeah I figured I'd have to be different - that's the bit I'm terrible at. I'm trying to work on it! There's just f**k all to do in my town.

What did you do to their ID's ? Were they in the same place as you ?
