Here's the scenario: This chick posted on her fb wall that she's bored her death & she wants anybody who have her number to text her. I do not have her number so I commented "PM me your number & we'll chat". She asked "Do I know you?" to which I asked "Does it matter?" At the same time there's was also another guy, presumably her friend, on the comment section. He cockblocked me by answering my question with "Yes, mommy always tell us not to talk to strangers." I replied to him: " So let's break the ice & not be strangers then". He then asked "I threw the ice out of the window, now what?" & I reply "Good, that means getting to know you would be a lot easier". So we introduced each other & I said she seems boring & doesn't joke a lot. The girl then commented (to cockblocker) "obviously he (me) wants to make friends with a girl" & (to me) "I can joke around, but not with you." I replied "Don't friendzone me, girl" before talking about some lame shit (music tastes along with some lame jokes) with the cockblocker. Halfway in the conversation I negged the girl by asking the cockblocker "Is she always that weird?" to which the cockblocker replied "elaborate weird" & the girl commented "Weird? Don't judge me before getting to know me well". I replied to her "If you do not want me to judge you then allow me to know you well" & to the cockblocker "as in being cold towards people she doesn't know. I understand it's very uncomfortable for a woman when she meets a new guy but she don't need to be that... cold towards them, yeah?". Here's comes the fucked up part: Me & the cockblocker got into a petty & trivial argument about the definition of "weird" & accusing me of using the wrong word to describe her. The cockblocker told me she's not weird & is just an introvert & doesn't want to talk to strangers. Further misunderstandings ensues & he keeps hurting my brain by going all deep & logical about the word "weird" & trolled me by being a fucking smartass. Eventually I had enough & told him "Who cares if I think she's weird & why do you have to take this whole issue seriously?" & he replied "I find joy in outsmarting people". He continue to nitpick my arguments & questions them to which I give up and say "you know what? I'm leaving! I don't want to give you any more ideas & satisfaction. bye!" How should I learn to stay cool & handle an arguing cockblocker? I hate arguments especially one where logic is involved. It kills emotions. |

The strategy is this : Divide and conquer. Ask the cockblock how long he has been friends with the target. No matter how he replies, reply like this : *Name* here is the situation, you've known her longer than I do, and here you are protecting her, when she doesn't even give you a thank you. Whatever I might think of her now, I want you to know that I respect what you're doing. Believe me when I tell you, that there are other women that would give anything to meet someone like you. So *Name* I apologize to you. This should never have happened. And I hope you'll understand, if I don't apologize to *Target's Name*. You'll have massaged the ego of an AFC, and put the target into a position where she has to prove to you that she is a good person. Mock her. Never let up. If the cockblock tries to protect her, let him know that he can do better. |
