Just new to this, so should probably put something in the Introductions at some point, but I have an issue first.
I have tried the "I was rigourously.." etc opener about the divorce a few times now, to varying degress of success.
1. WTF, you wierdo (then blocked)

3. Funnily, this is not the strangest email I have received on here! :) No way have you read 50 Shades?!
I have on my profile that I read 50 shades of grey - so this shows shes read it. Her response is great, but I'm stuck on where to go.
Do I go back to the script for the 9 steps or deviate away? And with what response?

Don't stick to the routines too much, if possible. You won't learn much that way. If you can get to the point you're making up your own material, you'll do a lot better.

It's cool you're getting off the silly stuff, like most of use in the opening few messages. You're starting a real conversation. Talk to her!

Think about something in the book that might be a DHV you can talk about. Don't brag but something simple like, "Actually I had to read the book my first year of graduate school."..

Don't lie if that's not true. It was just an example how to DHV good. The response I posted above tells her the person is educated and probably has a decent career. Doesn't look like bragging at all.

Just think of something like that. :)

EDIT: one thing I forgot to mention is ask her a few questions too. But nothing AFC like what do you do for work. For example, it's Sunday! Ask her how church was. Make look like you're not too serious though. I always text women on Sundays asking them how how church was, even though I know they do not attend church. Most find it kind of funny.

- I was once an elf in a grotto, several years ago.
- I am having work published in a law journal.
- I have two tattoos - both on my wrists.
- I am obsessed with Harry Potter and own way too many objects from the films. I'm going to the
studio tour in August and have already been to Hogwarts in Orlando.
- I thought I failed an exam for which I actually got 89% for.
- I own 7 pairs of Uggs, 8 leather jackets, 9 Hollister hoodies, 6 pairs of platform wedges (in addition
to many other pairs of shoes) and 5 Spirithoods - you could say I get addicted to things!
- I also have an unhealthy Apple addiction and you wouldn't believe the products I have.
- I have a chihuahua named Taco, who does not wear clothes or get carried in a handbag.

SO overall a good response. Given plenty of info for new convo, and an opportunity to NEG her about writing way too much all the time.
Something like:
WOW, you really do like to talk about yourself, one of the above would have done! But it is pretty cool you used to be an elf...how did you go from Santas little helper to published Law writer?
