Post subject:  No idea how to respon
So the we were married but now divorced opener has worked for me 3 out of 3 times. I know its not mine and not original but it works. Just got a message back on my 4th try and I have no idea where to go with it. Here is my line and her response

Me: After a rigorously brief overview of your profile, I wanted to let you know I have already married and divorced you in my mind. Thanks for all the wonderful imaginary but stimulating memories,..... you will always have a special place in my heart.

Your Ex-Hubby,

ps. You can keep the house in Hawaii but the rest of the bank heist money is mine. We will have to work out who keeps the hoopty. And, I am going to need half our money according to our prenup.

Her : HAhahahahaha! Wow, I'm completely taken a back. I'm both shocked and incredulously amused by your introduction. Unfortunately, you were indeed imagining things, because I don't believe in marriage so this would never happen, not even hypothetically! Nice try though :)

I am drawing a complete blank. My first thought is: Damn, I used the wrong opener on a woman that doesn't believe in marriage. DOH! SB9 btw. I've never had a problem replying to any of their replies yet till now. I know the door is wide open. Any help or suggestions would be great. Thanks for the help!

She replied so I would say you still have the door open just a bit. If you can get her to laugh she will respond again, and if she does you will still be in the game!

I would go with something along the lines of:
"What ever will I do with the His and Hers monogramed toothbrushes?"

If she responds, you need to end the "fake marriage" routine and roll into a "I'm glad you have a good sense of humor, thats a great quality in a person!" Good Luck!
