Stuck don't know how to reply to this HB9 (pof),

HB9:
Hi :)

ME: *AFC comment about wanting to get to know her, trading numbers, etc..*

HB9: *no reply*

...Saturday 5/5/2012...

ME: Ok, how about this then:

*tells joke*

HB9:
ok, that joke was hilarious. :) My name is ________. It's nice to meet you. What did you do this weekend?

ME:
Hi ________, nice to "meet" you too. I did the Louie Run this weekend. My first time and it was AWESOME. What did you do this weekend?

I had to work last night. I bartend a few nights a week, and it was Cinco de Mayo. :) What is the Louie Run?


OK...the louie run is a bike run with thousands of motorcycles / police escort in memory of fallen heroes. Ends at a fairgrounds with vendors, tattoos, bands, food, etc...

I got that part of the reply - but what can I say about her being a bartender and cinco de mayo?

1st off, GOOD JOB, an HB9 bartender is a tough nut to crack!

Your opener was a little soft, with just a Hi, and then jump straight to number close, without building any comfort!

Good recovery with the joke!

I would say something like "Bartendin Cinco De Mayo! for a hot bartender! That must have been rough? LOL. What was the worst?best pickup line that was used on you :D "

Thanks, I asked her that, told her I have a golden rule about attractive bartenders, and explained the louie run.

I would say something like; "My super powers of deduction, tell me the bar sink likely faces away from the bar-so I'm thinking he was checking out your ass? assuming it's a nice ass LOL! If the sink faces him-we both know where he was checking! 8)
