I was writing with a girl recently, but suddenly she stopped responding, no answer for 12 days. I sent a reminder: "Now, have you forgotten me? :*(" Answer: "Hellooo! You know, I'm a little afraid to go to fast... :p I feel that more than one message every fortnight can be too much... Maybe one day I can get a friend to ask you if you want to be with me... How are you?" Not sure how the friend-thing is relevant... How can I solve this one? |

You know that matches icon that you click to find "new matches"? If you were not online, I'd say keep at it. Online (usually) they're either interested or not. Seriously, if a girl stops messaging me, 99% of the time I just move on. If you got her number and were texting I'd say keep trying as well. But this chick doesn't seem interested from the word, "go". See what others in the forums have to say. Maybe they've got experience turning these girls around. but you're not even getting indifferent responses, you've got a few IOD's. Sorry. EDIT: Quote:

Huge IOD! Ever heard the saying if a girl likes you, she'll make time? If she was into ya, she'd want to message you.[/quote]EDIT2: I always think of stuff after I submit my posts and end up editing them about three times. :-/ Anyway.. If there's something about this girl you like. Wait about a month. Then message her again with something like, "hey Andrea! What kind of trouble have you been causing? Met your online prince charming yet?". That way you might be able to get some attraction. Showing you were not needy the first time, and are a pretty cool guy that cares how she's doing Just an idea. :-/ |

Generally I agree... just move on... but your email back was appropriate. I recently was talking to a girl online -- made my move to ask her out and 6 days later still no reply.... here's what I wrote her: Hey, what happened? Did I blow it? -David She wrote back a few hours later: Hey David, How are you? Sorry for the delayed response, it has been a busy week for me. You totally didn't blow it, my apologies. How was your weekend? I hope that you had a nice Holiday! Drinks next week perhaps? Janelle So you just never know. |
