So I have a good connection with a girl online, and I asked for her number. She's a little reluctant because she "has a few bad experiences giving it away". What would you do to convince her? |

first mistake, don't ask her for it tell her! i have had success with... "send me your number and I'll txt you when I am next free" i do this after she has agreed to the idea of hanging out/meeting up somewhere relaxed to talk like a coffee shop etc. |

Offer up an alternative, like SPAM, while continuing to email. Once she speaks to you on SPAM, she'll probably be OK with giving out her number. |

How many women are you chatting with online? Online, like everything else in dating, is a numbers game. Some girls just aren't going to give you their number-- Even if you do think that there's a good connection. She could be trying to gain control in your relationship, because she knows that you like her, and wants to see how hard you'll work for it. Don't play that game. Open up a new profile window, message that girl, and asked her for her phone number. |

Honestly, I've found it EXTREMELY easy to get numbers online. The hard part is parlaying that into a SUCCESSFUL 1st date.... |
