Also a good friend of mine's older sister. So I've always thought it would be funny to hit on her. I've always joked about hitting on her with him but she always came off as a bitch so I stayed away. hopefully now I can apply this new toolset I've discovered to make something actually happen.] Me: I was wondering if you remember the first time you swore. Her: say what? Me: like cussed [I should probably just say cussed from the start from here on out. That does seem to have caused confusion in every case so far.] Her: haha why?? are you doing a survey? lol [How do I work on not coming off as a telemarketer?] Me: I'm playing words with friends with my little cousin [name] and I'm wondering if it would be appropriate to say ass. her: lolol how old is she? me: 14? I can't remember how old I would've been her: lol you're funny it's probably safe. that's like 8th or 9th grade me: Yeah that's a pretty good point. her: :) me: I'm pretty sure everyone was cussin up a storm by that point Do you remember how old you would've been? first time you swore, not were in eighth grade. [computer crashed at this point. So i figured she got bored and left. Then she came back and apologized so game on] me: You didn't answer my question though. her: how old was i?? jeez i don't even know probably 5 lol me: Wow! You were an early bloomer! [need something better here. Maybe a comment about how she probably does a lot of things faster than all her peers. Or how social rules don't apply to her. I'm open for suggestions her: you know it me: I think I was much older than that. Do you remember what word it was? her: heck no lol me: ... heck isn't a cuss word... that definitely doesn't count her: lol well see now i'm a good kid don't swear anymore bahaha me: Haha really? her: no not at all lol [I need to specify it as cussing instead of swearing. find a way to mention the question more casually. And I need comebacks for either end of the age spectrum for first "cuss."] I have a few more FBs I need to post in the morning. for now back to homework. Overall it's looking like a good conversation starter. |
