Hi guys, I met a new girl last night who is a friend of another of my female friends. I hardly know anything about her, or even whether she's single. I saw that she is friends on FB with my other friend. I'm tempted to send her a message, but not sure what to write, as I hardly know her. I also don't want to seem like a FB "stalker" haha! Any suggestions? Or should I just not bother messaging her, at least until I know her better? Cheers! Happy gaming! |

Pick something on her profile that interests you, perhaps one of her "likes", and either ask her a question about it to get the ball rolling, or go direct and use it as a conversation starter, along the lines of "Hey, I saw you on X's friends, and..." again use something from her profile that also appeals to you, or you have some degree of authority on to build the common ground to start conversing from.

Thanks for the advice. I just replied to her, citing our mutual interest in a specific shop in town. I'll wait and see what she replies! |
