I briefly talked to this okcupid chick who randomly messaged me but I found it hard to keep the conversation flowing. My thinking is that there should be equal effort/equal interest for things to go right. If I have to keep asking questions and such to keep things flowing, I usually drop and move on. What about in this case? What should I have done/can do or salvage? Her: hey i'm interested in you in every way but have would u mind taking a ride on the torah for some jewish fever! Me: Ok..miss, even I am typing this on a few drinks but seriously? Credit to you for a funny line and a sense of humor "but have would u mind taking a ride on the torah for some jewish fever! " implies that while you have a sense of humor drunk or not, you are not really interested nor serious. Her: A) my profile was hacked B) I'm not Jewish, quite opposite, I'm Christian C) ya that was a really funny line and I'm going to hunt down the person that did it D) I'm pretty drunk right now too so...i appologize Me: lol, no problem. How did your account get hacked? Her: Well I was on it on somebody else's computer and I guess I didn't log out so now I'm really embarrassed and again I appologize haha Me: tsk tsk, always make sure to log out. No problem, it's actually pretty funny. I wouldn't even call that getting hacked but I guess technically it is, I guess it's akin to leaving your keys on top of your car on a sketch street corner Why all the jewish references? Her: haha i guess so..umm..she is jewish, I definitely do not make references to the torah and/or the prophet abraham. Don't worry. I've had my credit card hacked before! but this is not a comparison! haha Me: Wow.. that sucks, so far you seem like a liability Her: Wow, you've figured me all out! Haha ya that's my major! Me: Cool, well it was nice talking to you but I am off to bed as I have a football game to attend tomorrow. You should go to sleep too. Her: Haha good night! |

man you were really harsh on that girl for no apparent reason at all, she basicly offered you a freebie and you just insulted her, totally cock blocked your self hard
Her: hey i'm interested in you in every way but have would u mind taking a ride on the torah for some jewish fever! girl translation:hey I liked your pictures, I think your sexy and I want to fuck you, how bout it? Me: Ok..miss, even I am typing this on a few drinks but seriously? Credit to you for a funny line and a sense of humor "but have would u mind taking a ride on the torah for some jewish fever! " implies that while you have a sense of humor drunk or not, you are not really interested nor serious. girl translation:No you are drunk and not funny, I don't like you, and you shouldn't like me Her: A) my profile was hacked B) I'm not Jewish, quite opposite, I'm Christian C) ya that was a really funny line and I'm going to hunt down the person that did it D) I'm pretty drunk right now too so...i appologize girl translation: I should never have msged you, now it is time to lie about my profile being hacked to save face and pretend like I didn't message you cause you were mean for no reason and im sensative Me: lol, no problem. How did your account get hacked? Her: Well I was on it on somebody else's computer and I guess I didn't log out so now I'm really embarrassed and again I appologize haha girl translation: I hope you buy this, because it is embarassing to me that I messaged you Me: tsk tsk, always make sure to log out. No problem, it's actually pretty funny. Hey man, I have to say that this is absolutely brutal. You insult her way too much and come across as extremely serious and unattractive. I'm sure you are not any of these things in person, but that's how it's being misinterpreted online. Me: Cool, well it was nice talking to you but I am off to bed as I have a football game to attend tomorrow. You should go to sleep too. Her: Haha good night! Now, here's why: Your first message appeared as if you were very offended by her, it was too serious and analytical. I don't believe the hacked story she gave you, she probably felt like she had really offended you and didn't wan't to leave you feeling upset. It's clear that around here she still likes you, but you continue to go into unfun territory and she has to explain all about why she got hacked to you. The conversation continues to be bland and uninteresting. If it was pretty funny, why would you act all offended about it? What can you possibly gain from conveying that? You still continue to go on about the "jewish" thing. Again I have to ask, are you really so offended by what she said? This just conveys to a girl you are petty and can't let things go. Next, "Me: Wow.. that sucks, so far you seem like a liability "You should go to sleep too." You know what this girl is really thinking? "Who the hell are you? my father?" This isn't attractive to girls. I recommend that you lighten up and be a little more silly. Women go on these sites to meet an interesting and fun guy because they are sick of being around so many serious and needy people. You need to stop challenging women this way, forget that "I need to be higher value" shit. Instead challenge them in a flirting way, "I bet your milkshake brings all the boys to the yard, what is your most charming asset? I can kinda guess what it is but I'm not telling Welcome silliness, that comment she put I would have replied, "I like your style missy, when are we going to this jewishical fever party? Will I get to meet Mark Zuckerburg?" Have fun with it man. |

i totally disagree with this. some girls only write a little for a couple of messages and then, after youve sparked some interest and attraction, will open up much more. sometimes they wont even look at your profile until youve exchanged a couple of messages back and forth. they really cant afford to invest too much early on because they just have so many toolbags sending them messages when they put up a profile on a dating site. also, this isnt like talking to a girl in person where she cant easily get rid of you. online if shes not interested she just wont respond to your messages. so i use the theory that if theyre responding in any way theyre at least somewhat interested in talking to you. remember, it's ALWAYS on. so dont give up. some girls online just dont open up that easily in the beginning. if you are having a conversation with a girl and youre not sure if its going anywhere, well then just tell her you dont really like talking on here and ask for her number. if she gives it to you, proceed with your phone/text game. if not, then cut it off and move on. either way youve solved your problem of having to lead a boring conversation and wondering where youre at. |

the "so far you seem like a liability" line was really good. Ending the conversation by saying you had something high value - a football game - the next day was also good. other than that, the other posters are correct: you've been way to harsh and analytical. As far as the internet goes, this girl is all over you. If she behaves even close to similar when she's sober, I know I could probably # close and then f-close on date 1. And so can you. Lighten up a little. Have fun. And this interaction should probably be handled by being aggressive with taking the conversation sexual. Later in person it should be handled by aggressive kino escalation. good luck. |
