Women are not truly happy unless they are dating men 0.5 to 2 sexual market value points higher than themselves. (Any higher and the discrepancy would be too large to sustain a relationship beyond a short fling or one night stand. Some women intuitively grasp this, which is why the scenario of ugly girls preemptively dumping significantly higher status boyfriends is not so rare. They’re sparing their feelings from the pain they know is coming.)
