Post subject:  Good success in field, horrible on-line? Troubleshoot!

What's up all, quick introduction as this is my first post. I'm Kyle, got back into PUA while in college (a few years ago now), but never really got into sarging or running routines, have always focused on inner game instead and have had good results in non-bar/club settings.

Recently broke up with my girl so decided to switch it up to online game since I felt this would better suit my strategy/personality, and have been a bit surprised at the reaction. I spent a good amount of time picking pictures, writing (what I think is) a clever profile, and sending out a range of messages (witty, joke openers, sincere relating to her profile, way out there, the usual "ur cute" just as a control, all sorts of shit), and the response has been abysmal. I've actually had more girls randomly message me, than respond to messages I've sent.

So I wanted to reach out to you guys for some help tackling this one with me. As I see it there are three areas I could be fucking up... 1) my pictures, 2) my profile, or 3) my first messages. Since I've sent out such a variety of messages, I'm guessing its one of the first two.

So without any further ado, this is my OKC profile: www.okcupid.com/profile/californiakyle

Any comments/feedback/critics are definitely much appreciated on any aspect of my profile, and please feel free to be as brutal as possible haha. If you also want to share any examples of awesome profiles (such as yours) I would be happy to check em out (or reverse critique).

And if you have the time, a couple targeted questions:
1. Apparently Indian men have the lowest response rate according to OKCupid blog's analysis, which is why I have my race listed as multiple things (that I'm not). Any thoughts on this? I want to come up in searches, that being said it's pretty obvious (I think) I'm Indian. Only Indian women have messaged me first so far, but frankly there's not that many of them on OKC and that's not the demographic I'm exclusively going for.

2. I ran my pictures through mybestface and both the one as my current thumbnail and the one of me on the beach with my fraternity shirt on were rated as 64/100. Interesting thing to note, they were in OPPOSITE demographics. The one on the beach is good for 18-22, the other is 23-30. But I'm looking for girls 22-24. Any thoughts on whether its better to only have one, and go for one, or just keep all my pictures despite they all seem to cater to different demographics?

3. Can I DHV myself in other ways? How do you do this without coming off as "trying too hard"? I talk about my motorcycle and how I'm a scuba diver... but I also have an SLK convertible, my own house with a pool, blah blah, ... any way I can shamelessly use these things to DHV myself some more? Once I get a girl back to my house its so much easier to close because LA's all about the $$ / other superficial shit.

Any ways, thanks for reading my post and definitely appreciate any feedback.

Good profile. BTW, we're a 74% match  . You can show pictures of you with those things to DHV yourself. Write the caption, hanging out by my pool or something to that effect.

Anyways, good profile and very good job being honest and describing yourself. I think the main component you need is to really described the type of girl you want. Women when they read these things kind of want a checklist to a degree to know if you're gonna like them.

Saying things like I really admire someone who is adventurous. Or telling them that they need to be witty to keep you on your toes, etc. You need to start diving into the qualities of what you want and put a paragraph together of what your girl would be like. This allows them to kind of check themselves off.

Thanks for the quick feedback JSmooth. Definitely makes sense with the pics, that's a good idea.

So do you think the biggest thing is people are checking out my profile, but then not finding anything they can relate to / that feels like they'd be a good match for me?

I'd say right now about 1/4 of the people I message check out my profile (how does this compare to you guys?)

On a somewhat unrelated note, one thing I'm concerned with is that people are just writing me off on race / height or something that they automatically consider they're not looking for. Any ideas on how other people have dealt with this?

Yo man I'm still learning all this shit myself, but that's a great profile in my opinion. You come off solid. I think for you it's only a matter of time/reaching critical mass with sending more messages (quality ones of course).

Some girls don't go for one race, some girls don't go for guys of a height. Just keep hitting enough of them with messages and I'm convinced you'll do well.

I used to be a professional writer, so just a few tiny details to make it a little more impeccable:

-I'd delete that phrase '(this is the less interesting part ;)' because no matter what, You Are Interesting!
-misspelled 'feisty' at the end

Sweet, thanks man!

Just started using this message from ckamp, which seems to be working a lot better:
"So, obviously you passed the aesthetics test or shallow men (such as myself) would never contact you, but a buddy of mine was looking over my shoulder and claimed that – without a doubt – your profile looked to have been written by a guy; it’s just too perfect, minus the incompletion. He claimed that any account with so little information is a dead giveaway. I came to your defense, of course, but now we’ve got a $20 bet going as to whether or not you’re real. So I wondered, just between us, am I about to lose $20?"

Any other tweaks definitely let me know, esp regarding the pics
