Just thought I'd post a few things that helped me overcome my AA when I started the game a few months back. Inspiring songs, for example; Fall Out Boy - I Don't Care Now I'm not exactly a fan of Fall Out Boy (too 'soft' for my taste) but when ever I felt AA I just hummed in my head "I don't care what you think, just as long it's about me". I also recommend for anybody who already hasn't to watch the movie Fight Club. Basically what I'm trying to get across is to have a "fuck it just do it" mentality. Oh and one last thing, watch the film Yes Man, it may not exactly be a 'good' film but the 'message' in my opinion is good, if you get asked to go out normally the first reaction for a guy with social shyness or AA is to say no, but instead just say Yes to things you normally wouldn't. Live life. I hope this helps someone. |
