Post subject:  Blushing [teen]
I apparently have a very bad blushing problem where even being put on the spot in class causes me to blush. I've seen other people's guides to fighting it but the PUAs have almost been like fathers to me; teaching me confidence. I can't help but feel this would give away my body language everytime and ruin my inner game. So what is some of your tips to fight blushing?

Well it's tough to try to build the image of a confident male in a school when people point out you're turning red. I've been compared to tomatoes, bricks, etc. I go to an all boy's school so luckily I don't take some massive image hit if it doesn't travel outside the classroom.

I guess I can't relate. From an older adult perspective, I don't see why it matters, especially if you can't see yourself turn red. People that point it out would just make fun of you for something else if you didn't blush, like wearing glasses, being blond, being short, being thin, etc, etc. People will always find something to pick at at your age, accept it and ignore the people that point it out. Getting flustered about it, trying to change it makes it worse and bigger.

They don't make fun of it but blushing over nothing clearly is a sign of weakness. If this goes off when I game that isn't good at all. So I'm trying to resolve it so I look solid outerwise.

Yeah, and I struggled with acne for years and years. Everyday, eying it, cataloging every little break out, what kind, how long it would last, having experts look at my deformity under a magnifying glass, chemically melting my face until I believed I was a worthless disfigured fuck and everyone pitied me. It hurt, it made me vulnerable, I wanted to die. Does that sound like a manly man for you? If you fixate on your "defect", you're not going to see yourself properly. Do yourself a favor and just FORGET the physical things about you you can't fix. The more you focus on your skin, the worse your skin will get. Your blushing might disappear if you forget you even do it. I don't notice my scars and blemishes anymore, I really doubt anyone else does either.

you guys are all idiots, alright for the blush problem you have to socially condition yourself by keep presneting yourelf to the sitation until i goes away, happened to me all the time, so i looked for that situation, until i stop blushing

I also used to blush a lot in my early teens, but as you get older you learn that those things that used to make you embarassed now seem so insignificant.

For me I just learned to either ignore it or laugh about it, I've learned to not take things so seriously and can laugh at embarassing things that would make me blush.

And some women do think its cute. At least thats what they've told me

Yeah, I'm an older guy, too and that's my take. Teenagers. Everything is the end of the world.
