I'm new to this forum and I'm what you call an AFC. The issue with me is I not only have a hard time having talking to women, but people in general. I do have a tight group of friends and we go out to bars and venues almost every weekend but I get the same results every time and end up beating myself up over not talking to that one girl that was eye fucking me the entire night. I guess the big wake up call was last night, I was approached by at least 10 different women and had NO idea how to develop the conversation and in some cases pretended I didn't hear them and walked by. Sometimes my anxiety gets so bad that on the way to where ever is it we're going I get sick to my stomach. I've read lot's of PUA books but different people and know a fair bit of what I'm supposed to be doing but I can never actually muster up the courage to even approach knowing that when girls approach me I crash and burn. Is there anything you can recommend to a guy like me? I've been told I look confident but the second I open my mouth it totally exposes me. I'm pretty tired of the same ending every night and I'm going to do something about it, but advice on where to start would be helpful. |

you feel your "value" is too low thats why you can't talk to people or even girls. Your trying to come up with the perfect things to say, in another word, your trying to hard, which is freezing you up. Next time, when you talk to a girl, just talk about what ever comes to your mind. It don't have to be the perfect thing to say. In fact, the less effort you put into it, the better. At the same time, you have to assume your and her value are the same or your value a little higher. Once you have this combination down, you will keep the conversation going forever. Just think of it this way, if you have little sister, niece, cousins, your in that mind set already. Your value is same or higher, and your not trying to hard on what to say, this combination keeps your conversation flowing smoothly. |
