Note: serious answers only please. Hi all, ive been reading and practicing PUA for about 2 years now, and I have seen me turn from a nerd to a social bee. Currently, I feel very calm, confident, and fantastic. Chicks seem to think so too, as I they straight up tell me how I'm super confident. And suddenly... I went to the doctor for a wound yesterday, and I noticed, not the nurse, that my pulse rate was 94. She told me it was fine, but I don't think it is. Right now, 10:19pm, I feel very chill and calm, not stressed about anything, not nervous about anything. I am not lying to myself. However, my blood circulation rate is at 116 bpm. WTF. Should I be worried about it? I was wondering what the chances are that this could be from me changing a lot over such short time. Currently, I have been adapting a lot of shit into my normal life, like lines and c/f quotes and shit and I am getting great results. Here are some notes: -I am 18 years old -I have not worked out since high school ended 2 months ago -college starts in 7 days, but I am not nervous at all -I have invested about 3000 in stocks right now, which are doing bad currently (AAPL), but I know they will get better after next month. I am NOT worried about this. Any intelligent comments, questions, or recommendations very welcome. Thanks! -Secret |

Do daily blood pressure and pulse check yourself for about a month. And If it dosen't change, go to your doctor again. It could be the stocks. I wasn't nervous or worried about my exams, but my body told a different story. I would get zits, occasional heart arithmy, and high pressure and a reddning of the skin in some places. When the exams were over it all got back to normal. It sucks. |

Doesn't necessary need to be anxiety that's pushing your heart rate up: could be excitement. I remember I was bouncing off the walls in the short while before packing off to University! If you really want to, there are two ways you can slow down your heart. The first is breath control. Drop your breathing rate right down with deep, slow breaths. The second is a bit simpler: stick your thumb out, put it in your mouth, create a seal with your lips, and blow on it with a medium strength. Sounds silly, but will sort you right out. |

well I hope it was excitement that did that, cause I forgot to mention I had just quit my job a few hours beforehand! as of now, I am at 69bpm, but I am planning on taking random tests every once in a while. thanks! |
