Post subject:  Join me in learning to speak in public

Hi all,

There are two reasons why you may have issues with talking to girls;

1) Approval seeking. By constantly seeking acceptance from others in your life, you are effectively making others opinion of yourself more important than your own opinion of yourself. This is extremely tough to overcome as it's conditioned in all of us from childhood. There is a way though! By overcoming this, you will not feel rejection in the same way. You will understand that other peoples opinions are not to be feared, as you do not need them to validate yourself anymore.

2) Public Speaking. In a recent USA and UK study, the two biggest fears people had were a) public speaking followed by b) death. I am not kidding, people would rather die than speak in public! Public speaking will release your inner strength faster than anything else, and it will not be a quick fix, it will be hard but will be a lasting power that very few have. All areas of your life will improve with this mind set.

JOIN ME IN LEARNING TO SPEAK IN PUBLIC

My plan is to get just ten guys together and practice learning to speak in front of the small group in a supportive environment. This is for people who are nervous, this is for people who need to change their lives and expand.

We will meet in London (location to be decided and is 100% free.)

This will be a way to help each other grow as people and find inner strenths. This my friends is the first step (of four) in getting totally comfortable with woman!

As in life, there is no quick fix, there is no 'right thing to say'. To find love, to find peace and focus you must work at yourself. Imagine the freedom of never having to worry about speaking in public. Imagine how easy talking to one person would be if you can comfortably talk to ten!

I invite anyone who feels they would benefit from this small regular metting to email me at g.streets@hotmail.co.uk including your name and phone number. Tell me why you feel you should be one of the ten and I will email you back.

Don't settle for shyness, take this very rare opportunity to shatter your fears in a very supportive and comfortable way.

Just another idea for people in England,
go to speakers corner, and talk about something with passion and try to make people believe it (even though you might not believe it yourself;) )
as long as you'll bring it with confidence people will belief it,

if you really don't know anything to say to people or don't want this,
try to go into discussion with the people who are. having discussions in public will really boost your confidence, it surely did mine.
something that was too, very good for my confidence was debating in front of the entire school(it was something that my school organized) but yeh that was just my luck that I was able to do that

(still if you dont want to go speak nor discuss with some1 there, still go to speakers corner, it's alotta fun watching those retards there(3/4 of the speakers there are retarded))
speakers corner ftw

Toastmasters is another organization I've recently found out that is great for learning public speaking skills. Although they do have chapters in the UK, http://d71.org/portal.php?page=4 they're an international organization, so those of us in the USA, Ozland, etc, don't have to make do. :)
