| Post subject: | Way to shy to advance things |
Meaning that (unless I'm incredibly beyond wasted) I can't bring myself to ask for a number. Its seriously like a fuckin invisible barrier that I can't get over. Like a couple times when I used to work out at the Y there were girls that I liked and like twice I wanted their number so I brought a pen and paper and when I saw them, I honestly couldn't do it. Its also like that when I go out to the bars, or down to the University Center.......I'm just way to fuckin shy to go about advancing things. Sometimes I can't even bring myself to talk to girls. |

Here is something that you probably wont believe... but really... numbers arent that hard to get... =)there are guys that will go out and get a number in 30 secons flat... yeah thats like.. "Hey, whats up...Ive got to run, but you seem like a cool girl. Give me your number and maybe we can catch up later when I have time to talk to you." haha.. will it go anywhere... probably not. If your having a problem AFTER opening and talking to the girl for a few minutes... remember your false time constraint...(i.e. ive only got 2 minutes before I head back to my friends, Ive got to run in a minute, a buddy is waiting for me at the other end of the mall) if you set that on opening, which you probably should have. then its a natural progression that when the time is about up and your feeling like ejecting, just finish with "Hey ive got to run, Give me your number really quick" A favorite that Ive seen JSmooth use is "Im not sure about you yet, give me your number and we can catch up later" JMT |

feelinglucky is completely right some people get numbers and go nowhere. bout ur invisible shield thing id say (get some other opinions of course cause im no ghandi of pua) just follow the 3 second rule... like when i started i LITERALLY just could not talk to girls unless they initiated it. what i just started doing was saying to myself wat the fuck ill go to a mall and say hi to a girl, doesnt even need to be a hb9, just women in general. i built up my confidence by starting with the foundation. But literally the 3 second rule is so true, at a competition for something last saturday, when i saw this two set just sitting on a picnic bench, i went by looked and smiled decided i was gonna talk to them, but went to the washroom first to show them they're not that important, and then came with my two friends (who are AFC's but one's being reformed =p) and opened to them. If i had my phone i would have # closed but unfortunatly in addition a true time constraint just shocked me and ruined my momentum. but what im trying to say (and probably failing) is that if u see girls u wanna talk to, JUST DO IT, not trying to be mean, on the contrary man just do it, once u can tell urself who cares what they say, its JUST a woman, not some lifechanging being your AA will be gone. Hope ya can get over this man, its one of the hardest steps but once ur over it god it feels great =) |
