I don't know if it's in my head or if it's some deeper issues that I need to wrestle with. I go out on the weekends with the best of intentions but end up repeatedly getting scared to approach anyone. I know I'm a decent looking guy and once introduced am able to have a great interaction with anyone. However, actually approaching a cold set scares the shit out of me. It's not like I'm socially backwards or ignorant. Ive always had an attractive girlfriend, and been the alpha in the groups I hang out with. I'm always told I appear extremely confident and outgoing, but inwardly I know that when put in a sitation where I need to go pick up girls I would be absolutly petrified! I know I look confident because I know how to convey that attribute. Having it be only a front though is quit discouraging. Someone help me to learn how to conquer this. I want to, not only for the female benifits aspect of it, but also because I want to be able to know that I have won a personal battle!! |
