Hello guys, I am 17 years old, and I have problems stemming beyond girls. I'm posting this to see if anyone else has experienced what I'm feeling, and what im going through. Ok well what it is that every single week I go to school, I dont know what to expect, on some days I will be on my A game and I can concentrate and reply to what other people are saying and I can connect and raise laughter, I'll be 100% myself. Then on other days, which I fear to death are when I will go to school and I cant stay focused on anything not even a conversation. I try so fucking hard to listen and focus, but sometimes I cant and I'll just not react in a way I normally would, I'll just be awkward as shit, it feels like my days of weakness. After school on those days I'll just be completely worn out and I'll knock out on the car ride home. Sometimes I think it stems from lack of sleep cause I must admit that sometimes I only get about 5 hours of sleep, but then I got thinking why the hell does it happen to me, when there are a bunch of other kids that barely sleep and they'll be completely fine. It's mind boggling, and it feels as if it will never stop, like its just some sorta pattern. I really cant take it, I just want to be myself at times and I'm not afraid to be myself honestly, so I really dont think it's anxiety, it might be but honestly I dont give a fuck about expressing myself in front of other people it's just I feel socially awkward when I cannot concentrate. Can anyone relate? Any tips? |

I can only guess as you have not provided your life circumstances. Here is a list of questions for you: 1. how is your relationship with your family.Do you confide in either parent or older siblings? 2. How is your studies, that is are you getting good grades and is able to understand what is taught to you in class? 3.How is your social life.Do you mix well with both sexes and have activities with them like sports, study group or social outings.Do you have best friends or those that you can confide in of either gender? 4. Did you have any traumatic incidents in your early life that made you be embarassed or awkward by your family or strangers? 5.Do you like and love yourself? Do you feel comfortable with what material comforts that you have? 6. Do you socialise or stay at home after school? 7. You are in your teenage years so have not only physical and biological changes, mentally trying to find an identity that will fit expectations placed upon you by family and society in general. It is normal for you to be anxious and apprehensive about things that concern you and your perception of the implications of your future.Every one experience this changes but with support from family, friends and caring adults like teachers and family friends. Live a healthy life.Try not to smoke or drink as these substances are toxic and will affect your body and mind.Get out of the house and enjoy nature, get some sun for vitamin D. Reflect on these questions.Hopefully you can identify what's the true cause for your anxiety. |

1.) It's rocky at times, I don't really confide in any of them1. how is your relationship with your family.Do you confide in either parent or older siblings? 2. Reflect on these questions.Hopefully you can identify what's the true cause for your anxiety. 2.) My grades are passing, not great. When I zone in and listen to what they're saying I'll understand it. However on those bad days of mine I can't focus. 3.) I feel like my social life isn't where it should be, when I'm not extremely worn out, I can form connections, but as for the opposite sex I have very few friends there. I feel as if I can confide in them, but first I feel I need to build that relationship up. 4.) Not that I recall. 5.) Sometimes I do, sometimes I dont. I'm very comfortable with the materials I have. 6.) I usually stay home after school. |
