What if you just plain DON'T? What if the process is something that you just don't find enjoyable? I don't find making small talk with people who don't share my interests enjoyable. I find it a tedious chore. Therefore the only reason I would even be IN a social environment like a bar or club in the first place is to try to get laid. I think this factor is what will doom me to be an omega male, forever on the outside looking in. |

heh I think omega is higher then alpha in greek, so you just told me that you are doomed to being basically the most badass mofo on the planet... Is being that social and cool what you want to do? What benifits can talking to new people bring you? I also imagine there's some fear stopping you from enjoying it. If it's something you want to do then you should enjoy it because you are improving yourself as a man. Love each and every moment for the beauty that's in it. If you are talking to someone new, love that moment. I'm sure you can find something really cool to you in each and every moment regardless of whether the person you are talking to is interesting or not. There's alot to this issue. I can tell from even your short post. I imagine that enjoying the process is probably not something just with talking to new people. It probably is in other parts of your life as well. You need to find whatever memory that is holding you back and just let it go man. It could be multiple memories too, but either way I imagine this is much more than an issue talking to new people. Break this issue to it's core, and let go each and every part that's holding you back. I think until you do this you will subconciously hold yourself back in everything you do. |
