Post subject:  The Plague Among Men

Many times when even socially skilled men approach women and make their intentions known, such as with direct game, there are going to be some women who reject them. This of course could be politely or flat out rude.

The common thing to do, and it being what I’ve titled a plague among men, is to assume the very worst about the rejection. Immediately it is tempting to believe you are not good enough for her, you are not attractive enough for her, you are not “cool” or socially skilled enough for her and so on till you let that rejection stop you from approaching other women.

Even if you do end up approaching other women, it’s easy to avoid making advances due to the fact the last time you advanced towards the girl who rejected you, bad feelings crept up. You might think she made you feel terrible. However, she didn’t do that. She couldn’t do that. Only you can make yourself feel terrible in a situation like that. All she did was reject your advance. When you put your very bad interpretations and meanings to that rejection, then you start to feel terrible.

She could have been in a very satisfying relationship.
She could have been on her period and just wasn’t in the mood for guys.
She could have been sick or not feeling well in general.
She could have suffered from depression that influences her interactions with people.
She could have be a lesbian.
She could have had something bad happen in her last relationship, which influences her to be negative to other men.

Contrary to what is taught in some pick up artist material, there is no way to have every woman want you no matter how much you have going for you! Even the best technique, the best appearance and the best lifestyle are not going to get every woman you are interested in to accept you. That’s just being realistic. The truth doesn’t always have to hurt.

Becoming aware of the tendency to assume the worst is the first step in curing the plague. Then you could start becoming aware of your interactions with women and begin to put more realistic meanings on things. Keeping things in perspective and finding acceptable alternative reasons for her negative actions can keep you from losing your otherwise optimistic attitude towards life.
