Post subject:  New Lair?

Hey guys. So far at the moment, there is only Brisbane Lair. I think it is great but the problem is BL does not necesarilly help if you are a newbie. My proposal is to start a new lair--and everyone is welcome, experienced as well as newbies. This approach will ensure everyone help each other out.

So what do you say? My goal is to get everybodys skillsets happening. Rather than contacting each other individually, we will have a group of like minded individuals working towards a common goal. We will have a real "community" and "identity" as a group.

I am not just talking about an online identity, but a real community where we will see each other every week and have training sessions, meetings, activities, dinners, and of course, sargings.

Just think about it, with a whole lot of us, we can share resources, and experiences, ideas, etc. Everyone has input and something to say.

A great example is League of Gentlemen in Sydney. They also have Project Sydney. Now, i'm not saying we start a Project straightaway, but if we ever get going, we can have our gatherings, etc, in a member's place every week on a rotational basis.

These are just ideas guys. But if you are really serious, it is worth thinking about. This is only my first day here, so my next post will contain my mail addy.

Peace out

Hey man... I've just gotten to Brisbane and the lair here seems pretty cool.... not sure how they are at helping newbies, but then I'm not a newbie, just new to town.

I've sent you a PM.. but add me to MSN so we can chat.

Okay.. update for those searching for Brisbane Lair.

Shortly after moving to Brisbane, I took over the lair.. and ran it for about a year.

I've since stepped down due to a difference in philosophy and when I saw there was still a need, I created Brisbane Fraternity, an alternative to Brisbane Lair.

The frat is comprised of a group of guys dedicated to meeting awesome girls, and helping each other to do that.

There's a public and private section... the public section means you don't have to wait for a newbie night to get involved.. you can join up and start organising to meet up with others, or posting your adventures.

If that sounds like something you might be interested in: BrisbaneFraternity.com

Formed only a few weeks ago, we're already over 80 members and things are going really well.
