Hi all, I’m a Brisbane based student in my third year, and a writer. For a final piece of assessment, I have to write a 1500 word piece on the topic of my choice. I recently read Strauss’s ‘The Game’, and became interested in the PUA community. I would like to write a piece exploring Brisbane’s community, and how women fit into this scene: do these techniques work for women; how do men react to women pick up artists; what does the game do to men and women’s relationships? I have a proposition. I’d like to meet/interview anybody willing (though preferably an experienced PUA, who is well versed in lore and technique), and possibly even go sarging sometime, so I can see you in action, and try it out myself. The piece is due in three weeks time. The article I want to write will be even-handed and fair. I’d like to keep the tone light, with heavy dashes of self-deprecation. If you agree to help me out, I will, of course, show you the finished product to ensure you don’t have a problem with the way I’ve represented you. I should also confirm: I am female.
