Im 26 now, there are alot of things i need to improve as far as not being lazy and getting a solid job. I realize though that my attention/concentration to studying isnt all there.. When i dip into a book that isnt entertainment, i just think of other things, like cars, video games etc.. When I was a kid, i was good, but Im getting older. It is just something I realize.. When i was in college, i would procrastinate and do homework last, or not study for test and bomb them *i didnt finish college*. People tell me I am a bright person, esp girls. I just find it hard to read a book without wondering about other things. I read The Game 2 years ago *last book i read* and loved it.. but when i read a non- entertaining book , its hard. Also my time management sucks, I end up not doing anything serious for days.. Really sucks. If some of you guys have some pointers/advice , would be appreciated. |

Meditate! "Brief Meditation Helps Concentration": http://www.theepochtimes.com/n2/content/view/34978/ "Losing Focus? Studies Say Meditation May Help": http://www.time.com/time/health/article ... 14,00.html I've personally found that meditating has improved my ability to concentrate. More specifically, you may want to look into Trataka meditation: http://www.jalanetipot.com/clean_trataka.html -Roz |
