Hey all. I went to prague about 7 years ago and had Budvar which is by far the best beer ever made. It is illegal still though for companies to distribute in the U.S. because Amhieser-Bush owns the international copyrights to the name. I know it's able to be sold in most European countries from Switzerland all the way to Austria. I had a liquor store down here the carried it but he got busted for drug dealing or something. If anybody has access to it please let me know as it's been about 6 years since I've had it and I'm not heading to Europe anytime soon. all they have here in the states is a crappy lager version tailored to light beer drinking Americans called Czechvar and it just doesn't compare to the real stuff thanks all |
