Yo, cats, my 1st question strangely isn’t girl related but guy related. I’ll explain my situation best I can. I’m a make-up student living in students halls in an all guy flat in Glasgow. Theres 5 guys including myself; a lovely afc computer games designer, (nice guy not to good with girls), a well to do Indian guy I get on with. (he can bee little up himself from time to time but is a good laugh) a drama student (who we don’t see much of, again nice guy but no one knows sure if he’s gay?) myself ( the mad one who always up to some mad project, often compared to the mad professor in back to the future) and of course… a greek (who always has to be the top dog) It’s the greek I have the issue with. In a one off social contact I could get on with him. But I have to live with him and he’s driving me mad in a thousand little way. He’s a body builder, he always has a opinion (and his opinion always has to be right) my opinion is always wrong. I can’t cook my own dinner without getting a half our lecture on how unhealthy my life style is. He always inspects my things and passes judgment without me asking what he thinks. And one time the drama guy had a flat party, and one of the randomers was smocking out the window. The Greek lost it at this guy “OI! Put that out this is !!!!MY!!!!! flat!!” in here lies the problem. Now I also point out I’ve been living in this flat the longest. This is my 2nd year here, in this flat he’s been here 6 months. While I sadly have no control over my flat mates, but it budges me to no wend the he swaged in one day and has started to lecture me on every aspect of my life. However the other guys get on with him, and that afc computer geek idolizes him. (Ironic considering I’m pretty sure the Greeks an afc too. His “girl friend lives in Australia” who he never see’s.) and while I get on with the other guys too, the last thing I want is to create a rift/war zone within the flat. How do I disarm this guy, and put him in his place, while not upsetting the statuses quo. Get him to stop lecturing me and treating me like one of his bitches, but in a smart way the leaves the rest of the flat oblivious of the situation? Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreashatted! And thanks for taking the time to read this. All the best xXx Lc xXx |

well i would just be open and straight with him, dont react to what he says if he gets a reaction hes the alpha, i know the kinda guy they word douch is perfect, if ur eating something and hes liek thats so unhealthy, just say its not your body why do you care so much you in love with me or something. if he keeps going just speak to him again and say look man i apreceate ur looking out for my health but im just not into heathly eating or you cant afoord it ya ya ya , now about the smoking thing i dunnno man. its intirly up to the house, ive been in halls where smoking is like hell man just do it out the window dont let it get evverywhere and places where peopel are like downstairs now!!! smokings dirty i quit and im glad but i apreceate when peopel do so i guess if hes in the room dont if he is just dont simple. all give and take. but messing with teh current social dynamics quickly will be bad do it slowly i live with the alpha male from my college course and hes used to peopel being his bitch at college i never jumped though hoops but i just humor it save arguments and dont let him take the piss sorta be the beta male, and slowly as time gos by hes less alpha still alpha but hes more a team player now. it takes time to slowly change the shift hope some of that helped perfect form |

Hey bud, cheer and *high five* dyslexics rule :p glad I’m not the only one :p Any way it been a little while since I wrote this post and on reading a lot of the posts and material I’ve started to view this situation in a completely different light. “alpha” as he likes to think he is he is a total AFC!! And it’s funny to me now! Other night him and the Indian guy go out on the pull, and come home bitching and wining about the club they were at being 80% male and 20% female. “how you meant to pull in that environment?” cried the Indian I laughed! No challenge for a skilled pua who knows what he’s doing I’m sure. Any way I start passing on some PUA tips and tricks and a couple of theories… such as kenio, negs and a few openers. The geek: “no no no, I would never do that to a girl, that would never work” he says defensively . Again I laugh. “Yeah but then her friend always pulls her away or you get stuck with the ugly one” protests the Indian. “I would never approach a girls who’s with her friends, that’s just stupid” the geek says mockingly to me. Then he starts talk about how women like men to “force there masulinaty on them” and how “once you get in-between there leg there nothing they can do” “isn’t there a word for that…?” I said sarcastically “oh yeah rape!” At this point I have a grin from cheek to cheek. “Exactly how Meany times have you been layed since you came to Scotland?” I asked him. “I’ve kiss a couple girls in clubs.” He said. “So that’s a no then.” I walk right up to him and pat him reassuringly on the shoulder “what can I say my friend, who am I to argue with you. I can tell your techniques are flawless. You’re just deep fried in fany batter!” And exit the room laughing. Win me! Also that week end my girl friends round. (only girl in the flat since they moved in. strutting around the flat in sexy underwear, and we almost get arrested for having sex in the Glasgow nocropalice :p that made a good DHV story. Also I’ve turned the games designer on to the game, and I’ve observed that even he’s getting a bit ratty with the greek. He was washing the dishes and the greek comes up to him “you want some advice?” Games designer “ NO! “ sharply. I burst out in hysterical laughter on the other side of the room. (I laughed so hard milk came out my nose)”yes you do!” insisted the Greek and the look of death on the designer’s face was priceless. Basically in the most subtle way possible I’ve started to DHV myself and i‘ve even started throwing negs (or the guy equivalent) to him, to DLV him to knock him down a social peg or two. And the best part is I think it might be working XD!! |

Sounds like this guy needs a swift boot in the baws, but if I were you id be less worried about being the alpha of your flat and more concerned with studying and picking up girls outside. |

lol,those charecteristics you said about him completely suprise me cause that sounds like the opposite of most greeks and i should know,i am greek and live i greece :p . anyway,not sure how i can help but if you want to ask me something or how to say something in greek youre free to do so |

Simple solution: 1. Move out 2. If you can, kick his ass, but not too hard, just make him look like a little bitch. #1 is the best option |
