I'm thinking about colleges guys. I'm a scholar but there is no doubt that I'm not thinking about the nation's best party schools and best girl to guy ratio around.

Feedback appreciated!

I currently attend one of the schools on that list, and I can say that you will have a damn good time at any of those places. PM me if you want more information on which school on that list I attend and about how the nightlife scene is party and club/bar wise.

Also, if I'm not mistaken, that list is only so accurate. They also include rates for involvement in club activities like soccer, chess, language, etc., they only rate the bar/club scene in the 21+ community, and they rate balance between social and academic life. The school I attend is in the top 10 and I can tell you that even if our academic club activity ratings are low, we can party like motherf...

I assume you get the point.

What happened to best campus, best course, best tutors?

I think it would be dumb to base your choice on the amount of women, there are women everywhere. Focus on getting the best in terms of academic prestige etc etc.

Somethings are more important than "gettun all da gurlz, yo"

I agree don't go to a college JUST for the parties/women, but some of the school's on this top party list are very good schools depending on your major. Let's look at Penn State University (PSU) for example - it's number 1 on that list. Look at the credentials it has here http://www.psu.edu/ur/rankings/

It ranked 3rd in undergraduate business specialities: supply chain management and logistics. In the top 50 public national universities, it tied for 15th. Considering the number of public universities in the US, I'd say that is pretty good. PSU also ranked 4th in the undergrad engineering indust/manufacturing field. NASDAQ rated PSU "Best Center for Entrepreneurship in U.S. 2005".

No, I do not attend PSU, so I'm not just talking up my school here. My point is, while you should NOT choose a college based on it's party scene, you can have the best of both worlds. Many prestigious schools (depending on your major) have a good party scene. Just remember, academics first!

what major you're in also can change the amount of girls you'll meet at school. Obviously things like fashion merchandising and stuff like that will have more girls in the program, but even for majors that you might not think would be that way, like pharmacy, which is what I'm in- there's usually about a 3:1 girl to guy ratio in that major at almost any school in the country.

Basically tho- state schools will have big party scenes, but the other guys are right. Choose the school that you like and will help you get what you want. There's hot girls everywhere man- it's college.

If you wanna narrow it down that way tho- look for the schools with the bigger populations.
