I was just wondering how safe cunnilingus is and what STD's could be caught by this?
Obviously there is'nt no protection so how risky is this.

I'd also like to know more about the risks as I love cunnilingus. I've never had any disease and all I know is that almost any disease can be transfered like HIV, gonorrhea, herpes, hepatitis, etc and the longer you keep pussy juice in your mouth the easier will it be for the disease to emerge. Means either gulp from time to time or spit it out

ha, I don't think thats a very reliable technique.

You can get oral herpes if she has genital herpes, which isn't pretty and you will have forever. Lots of people have it though, I think here in the US, one in four or five people have herpes, oral or genital. Transmitted through open sores.

You could get HIV if you have an open sore in your mouth which is also bad news.

You could get gonorrhea and chlamydia orally, these you can take antibiotics for and it goes away, not real serious. I heard its like you have a cold...

So ya... I recommend not going down town during one night stands (ONS). If youre gonna do it, u'd be wise to know the girl fairly well. Same with sex. Strap it up! The older you get, the more stories you end up hearing. I've dodge some bullets in my day (I'm 24) and have done some stupid shit. Waiting for those test results SUCKS!

Ok cheers mate, but how often do people get mouth soars and what are they. Do you mean like mouth ol'sers (mis-spelt)?

A girl know i knew once rang me up and told me she had herpes, i'd only ever kissed her but i did'nt you could get oral herpes. I thought 'why the fuck are you telling me for'.
It was awhile after we'd kissed so i think im safe and my mouth feels okay (when i stick my fingers in there check)

So does that mean she's got herpes for life and can never ever be rid of it?

An expansion from that question, which STDs can be healed/cured?

Ok, so there are two types of stds. Viral and bacterial. All bacterial stds can be cured; syphilis, chlamydia, gonorrhea, trick (trichomiosis or something). Viral stds are gonna stick around tho; herpes, hiv/aids, hpv. Your body can take care of hpv on its own; sometimes it just goes away, sometimes not. But the other two aren't going anywhere.

I suggest additional research online to get the details about this stuff.

Herpes is tricky cus you can have it and not have any symptoms; just be a carrier. Mozy, she probably told you so you wouldn't be surprised if you got mouth sores. Its rare to get it tho unless the person your kissing has sores at the same time; they come and go. It is possible to get it however without her having any signs, but unlikely. Sores on the outside of the mouth signify oral herpes. You can have sores inside your mouth but those aren't typically herpes; can happen if you bite your check, burn it on hot food, etc. Those are called cold sores, in America anyways.

DO NOT get head from a girl who has oral herpes cus she could give you genital herpes. like wise, if you give head to a girl who has genital herpes, you could get oral herpes..

There was this chick I was crazy about and always flirted with at my work; she always had a boyfriend but I knew she kind of liked me. Then, right after she broke up with her bf she wanted to hangout, but i had found out around the same time she had oral herpes. Still makes me sad cus I don't have it (got tested over summer) and she's not worth taking the risk for, as far as I'm concerned.

Heres the thing tho, herpes is very common and most people don't even know they have it. Aside from hpv, it is the most common std out there. You can get herpes and still have normal relationships, date, whatever. It can be suppressed with medicines which reduce greatly the risk of transfer. Not something you want, but hey, at least its not hiv, right?

The only way to know FOR SURE if you have no signs is to get tested. My university doesn't even test for herpes during the regular gambit of std tests because its so common. I think its so stupid they don't but the idea is, most people who have it show no symptoms, so why fuck with their head. I make them test for it tho cus I would rather know than just assume I dont have it.

I know a lot about stds and get tested often cus I'm a paranoid! Strap it up kiddies! I had chlamydia once (the clap) but I got prescribed a two time dose of antibiotics. Simple fix. (I got it from a girl I was dating, fuckin beotch! I was in Italy at the time and had to deal with it for like 3 weeks till I got back and saw my doctor, it was not fun!)

I encourage everyone to get educated on STDs, do your own research online through a variety of sources. Also get tested regularly if you are active. If you have multiple partners the recommendation is every six months to a year. And always always wear condoms unless you know for a FACT she is clean and on birth control!

Oy vey! No more on this topic from me

My advice is make sure it is a respectable girl (I know they can be infected too but is less lkely than an out and out slut) and get checked out regularly :)

Yes, guys.

I am a doctor PUA, and cunnilingus can be dangerous, even if your mouth is healthy.
What a pity! If I see a beautiful girl with a short skirt, resisting and avoiding cunni is really hard.

So: what do we do? Probably avoiding cunni with strangers is the best decision.
