I'm a guy that wants to do porn for a living and not sure where to start

Depth and understanding aren't the same.
Something can be detailed and confusing to many or in general e.g. String theory, quantum physics, chemical engineering, thermodynamics, etc.

Or vague but easily understood e.g. Mentioning you score points in basketball by putting the ball in the hoop but not explaining all the other parts of the games rules, fundamental techniques or strategy will be easily understood but very vague and not showing the bigger picture.

Vague does not mean confusing or difficult to understand it means brief and not covering enough information. There is more to it than moving to la and looking for work.

So far I've found a few modeling agencies after doing research online, a photographer to help me with a portfolio for pics, an amateur producer on fey life to help me set up a portfolio of videos, and have been reading about how to break into mainstream as well as what genres are there and what's popular and brainstorming a bit on writing ideas for scripts.

And came up with a stage name.
Also been working out for a while now.

Would love to be a pornstar.

I can imagine it's a competitive job. You will be competing with people who will do it for free. I her male pornstars don't get paid much apart from the big time stars like Johnny Sinns etc

I think being a pornstar isnt easy tbh, but easier for women the market is saturated, unless you want to do the riskier stuff. To make it you have to be in early!
