Hey guys, Want to take a next step. Got approaching, body language and transitioning down. Working on mirroring and getting better. Wondering what my next step should be: qualification or flirting? I'm very uncomfortable flirting, but halfway good at qualification. |

It seems like you're following the Mystery Method. You don't need to qualify (well, you should be qualifying by showing her you're a cool guy) so I'd go with flirting. If you don't learn how to flirt or escalate, you'll just be the friend (although the cool friend) anyways. |

I don't know why so many guys who claim to be PUAs rule out gaming a girl once she is attracted to you. You still have to qualify and escalate until you close. If I approach direct then I flirt then as soon as possible challenge her by flipping the script on her. If she hooks I'll be getting IOIs and from there I just qualify and escalate until I close. Simple... Flirting helps to build comfort and attraction. Qualification moves that attraction forward. Many PUAs don't understand that qualification is an ongoing process. It extends into rapport but the dynamics of qualification change from you screening to you being more accepting of who she is as a person. The woman has to feel as if she has worked for you and has invested in you. Qualification helps with LMR and preventing flaky behavior since she feels invested in you and knows that she wants to see you again. Whether you pull the ONS or #close to set up a day 2, qualification will help. You can also be playful and flirty during qualification. You don't have to choose one or the other. |
