So i realized that there are 2 personalities in me, the new one that is trying its best to "get a life" but there is also the old one that is a geek who loves Star Trek, Sf, computer games, eats too much and masturbates excessively. I also realized that my actions reinforce the first or the second personality. My problem is that my life till now was hand tailored to draw the geek out, there were situations when the other one got out for a second but inevitably i would go back to my old habits because i had nothing else to do in my spare time. Here is my question, can you suggest any good movies or tv series that would reinforce the "desirable" personality, now i am not talking about PUA stuff, just something to fill my free time apart from PUA but something that will not erode me the way the stuff i do right now does, thank you. |

Maybe watching TV is not the best thing. Perhaps a hobby? Golf, snowboarding, weight lifting, kick boxing, playing the guitar, yadda, yadda, yadda, yadda... That way, not inly do dump an old habit (watching TV), but you gain something that can fit your new persona. Just my two cents; spend it, or leave it. |

Unfortunately currently only non exerting activities, my physical condition prevents me from actively pursuing any real sports SPAM, i am currently just too fat for that, in fact that is part of the problem, i did very good for a time, lost over 60 pounds(30 something kg) but for the last couple of months things seem to have steadily been slowing down and falling apart, i stopped loosing weight(with a little less than 60 pounds left to go) my social circle fell apart(not my fault, i did my best to pull together a decent group of ppl interested in the same things as i but they almost unanimously gave up when it got rough, and other ppl i have been going out with either moved away or lost interest in going out altogether), finally a few weeks ago the last of my social circle dried up, i have lost no weight for over a month and i generally lost my touch, i am trying to find a way to reignite my fire and i know certain stuff worked last time, what i am trying to get back is that feeling of missing out, since right now it is rather faint.

T.V. is really a mind-sucking medium. You can more from reading a good book 10 minutes a day for a moth, than watching T.V. 24/7. |
