Why do we like beautiful girls, from an evolutionary perspective? Can the beauty gene be passed on? Does beauty do good to our human race? Does liking beautiful girls help our human race become better?

everythign why women like certain men makes sense, in a tribal or animalistic way, now men we are shallow lol our first priority when looking for a mate is looks, then maybe personality then things that actually matter like does she cook is she a good mother or can she make money on her own

women who were kinda overweight were more attractive at one time because they looked like they could cook, some faces look more feminine, which produce more estrogen which then makes men want them more.

but like i said men are attracted to alot of different things, some men like strictly fat girls, other like strictly skinny girls....you'll almost never hear a woman say she only likes fat boys lol (even tho skinny boys are in for some reason )

and no the beauty gene doesn't past, 2 beatiful parents willl almost always make an ugly baby, because you have to look like your parents, if you mix your mothers eyes with you fathers nose you might be ugly lol

We subconciously associate beauty with health. Healthy mate-->more likely healthy offspring. That's why. Though depending on many things it is easily outweighed by other stuff. (Some men like chubby, some like too skinny, some(like me) don't care about looks too much.

Same with girls however. Their taste differs just as much, but with more subtle things (e.g. music taste, professions, etc.)
