You have a group of friends whom you hang out with. (They're in college, and so are you.) Every time plans are made to hang out, you're the one who has to pick them up and drive to the venue. Sure, it's nice to be behind the wheel every now and then, but eventually you sometimes wished that one of your friends was the one to do all the driving since it seems like you're the one doing all the work.

Either she doesn't have a car to begin with or he doesn't have a license because his driving test is whatever days away, I would always picture myself as some sort of mom picking up some kids and driving them to school, like car-pool. But you can't always get what you want; you can't expect your friends to be like you, the chauffeur.

Is it bad if you're the only one in your group of friends to be the driver? To be the only person in the social circle to give the okay signal whether the plans fall through or not? I'm trying to see any upsides to this.
