| Post subject: | AFC friend and my ex and current main chick |
I have a friend that is a complete AFC. Total beta, friend them first and hopefully they'll throw him a pity hj type of guy. Regardless, he is still one of my friends, but he has really been annoying / frustrating me lately and I'm not sure what to do. A few months ago I broke up with my now ex. My friend and her were cool but never close. After we broke up, they began hanging out all the time in groups. I don't think they are or ever have hooked up, but this isn't about jealousy. She is a drama queen and painful to be around now. He invites her to things we already had planned or invites her to new events. I recently bailed on a boys trip to chicago because he invited her and her friend. Its not that big of a deal, I have a large social circle and always have other options, but this is annoying. Not only that, he tells her what girls I'm getting with and if I run into her, she'll try to corner me and grill me. On to the current chick. I'm seeing this girl pretty regularly. He knows her from college (we all went the same University, but he actually knew her then, I knew of her, didn't chill). Now he is telling her he feels awkward talking to her cause he knows how I operate and he doesn't want to have to lie for me. First off, this is BS. I don't play girls and and am open and up front about what I want, this girl knows this. Secondly, what is he doing? I always thought of this guy as one of the boys, but I'm starting to change the way I think about him and to treat him as he were a chick. Any advice on how to handle this? I've already told him I didn't appreciate him best friending my ex right after we broke up and inviting her to all things we already had planned and he just kinda shrugged it off and said she's his friend too. I can't exactly cut him off, but I can distance myself. |

It's okay Bro code to call this guy out. I would.A few months ago I broke up with my now ex. My friend and her were cool but never close. I can't exactly cut him off, but I can distance myself. Call him aside, humiliating him in your social circle would only lower YOUR value, but seeing as you have lightly warned once already, an equal level witness wouldn't hurt. Example "Dude seriously, are you trying to see what my leftover cock juices taste like?! What's your deal?" Be BLUNT! |
