I'm with this hot as fuck, 10/10 body 18 year old (I'm 23) but there's a snag... She's a creationist... You know all that "the earth is 6000 years old and God made everything in seven days" nonsense. We get on like a house on fire otherwise and have proper filthy sex, she's into pain and stuff, a lot of religious girls are O_o

Now, she has her beliefs and thats fine by me, but occasionally she likes to make ill-informed sweeping statements such as "evolution is bollocks" and whatnot. I really don't want to get into an unnecessary argument over this type of thing, but at the same time part of me wants to pull her up on when she says things like that.

Basically, I am just venting on here to avoid actually causing conflict with her. Our differing beliefs haven't come between us at all and I don't really have a problem except when she says something utterly illogical, brainwashed and stupid.

I'm just putting this post here to get it off my chest... So yeah... Any funny experiences you guys have had dating people with differing beliefs and backgrounds and if so, how did you handle it?

The easist way is to just let them believe what they want and don't make a big deal about it. I've found they won't try to argue with you unless you start in with them. I dated a girl who told me baby Jesus would return one day and save the world. She even said "baby" jesus because she was indoctrinated by nuns in a catholic school and nuns always call jesus "baby jesus" because they are old ladies who think that sounds cuter. She literally just recited the same verbage that the nuns brainwashed her with as a young girl. It's kind of sad really.

I've never understood why the hell religious nuts don't sway when they're presented with evidence proving their beliefs wrong. Do they have some mental illness?

I once took a chick out, but I didn't pursue anything with her because she was so quiet until her friends arrived. She spent much of the evening looking at her phone no matter how much talking I did. She's a Jehovah's Witness and I'm a hardline atheist.

Technically, yes. It's called a meme. A mind virus. Viruses have defense mechanisms built in them which prevent the virus from being destroyed by external forces. With religious memes, there is concept imbeded in it called "faith". Faith is something that may be tested, questioned, and possibly attacked by naysayers and detractors. If one steadfastly maintains their faith then they are stronger, wiser, and more righteous for doing so, thus preserving the integrity of their meme (mind virus).
