u fuckin idiot... All those guys were actors. It doesnt mean that they were fake. It means that mystery needed guys who could be naturals at the game when it came to doing routines and "acting" different. And im sure the shows producers wanted someone who could be good infront of the camera. |

either way i dont know. nor ever will. its all speculation...but we all know that alot of what the top PUAs do is for themselves... They are PR machines. tv apprearances, books, putting down other members of the community (style making tyler out to be the bad guy to make him look better...) although a bunch of actors.. who are confident.. outgoing... resourceful... all appearing on a PU show... its just to suss for me... |

i dont really care, if they were acting in a "reality show" they made themselves look like fools to women in front of thousands of people |

I really want to end this... Okay if you were Mystery and you have VH1 hand you this money, and you want your show to succeed you need to think of what types of people would be better at becoming PUA's in that time frame. Actors are people who can adapt to different characters and understand the Avatar idea easier than others. They would make a good type. The are use to memorizing scripts amoungst other things. He needed it to succeed for his own gain. He made the logical choice to make it work. I can't fault him for that. In some ways it has helped the community and other ways it has hamstrung it. Ok guys in Hollywood for reality t.v. shows the people that show up for them, and send in videos are usually washed up actors. It's not unusual for reality t.v. shows to use actors at all it's the norm in Hollywood. The game is real my friends. |

I used to work in TV and I can tell you, what's considered "fake" and "real" in TV is not the same as what's considered fake and real in real life. TV is entertainment, first, last, and always. |

Quote: Yes, I went to the University of Oregon and recieved a theatre arts degree. I am very proud of my education and never tried to hide it. On the VH1.com it says I was a medical web developer, that was correct. Prior to the show, that was my 9 to 5 job. As far as acting and the show, I was never given lines, stage direction, or blocking. What you see is the real deal. My life was changed forever, and I never thought a reality tv show would have such an impact on anyone's life.
