I'm 19, a guitar player for the past 9 years, I attend Musicians Institute and I've been single for the past 2 or 3 years now. I've built up some confidence and I've skimmed through some books like MM and a couple of others that I can't seem to remember the names to.
I'm kinda popular at school, I've definitely developed a name for myself as a guitar player, and a lot of people call me one of their favorite guitar players. I seem to have a problem with believe in myself. As I think I'm whale shit on the bottom of the ocean still, and I think that reflects out, even when I'm confident and fun to be around.
I've always been the nice guy who never really gets past the friends zone, I'm normally the chubby friend who ends up taking a back seat to the rest of my friends and when I finally moved to Hollywood 7 months ago to start school, I figured it was a great way to get started with a new life. But I seem to run into the same problems, although my biggest improvement is that in my home town I'd never even get a first date, I've been on a few first dates, but haven't gotten past that. I had a one week fling with a chick, and ended up losing her because I cared too much. We got to kissing, cuddling, ect. But she just didn't want all of it at once and it was a good lesson for myself.
Anyways, I'd really like someone to show me the ropes and fix me, so I can really become the man that I know I can be, but I'm not. Thanks
