Post subject:  Age Help
Ok im a junior in HS and i met her at my church i thought she was like a sophmore but after going out on a date i learned that shes a freshman.

So im 2.5 years older than she, but we both really like each other.

Just curious to get yalls thoughts on the age differance.

Yeah I don't see anything wrong with it at all.
I disagree with seniors that go out with freshman but a junior doing it I see nothing wrong.

I personally get very freaked out by age difference. I think I care about to much of what society thinks.

But go for it man!

anything is game in highschool. people in this country judge and label everything they can. if you like eachother then enjoy it and dont pay any attention to what anyone else thinks

e.g. you = 20/2 = 10

10+7 = 17 (minimum age)

I think for people over 18 just ignore that rule till 22

anyway, is any 20 year old gonna turn down a 17 year old because of the law?

I'm 20, and yeah I've turned it down. Call me chicken, but I'm just too scared to let things like that get in the way when there are plenty of 18+ girls out there to meet! Now I'll be in Europe this summer studying abroad (or two) so we'll see what happens! :lol:

My friends boyfriend just went to jail because a girl that he was having sex with, before her, was 16 and he was 19 and she got mad at him and told her Dad which = jail for three months.

For me i dont stoop lower than 3 years my junior but that will change as i get older. Say im 25 im still guna sarge 18y/os :D

If your younger and wana sarge older women, the only thing holding you back is yourself :) As soon as u realise that your just as valuable if not more valuable than men her age its fine. I k-closed a 24y.o on sunday nprobs. :D

Just as Chikito said, age is shit. It doesn't matter. The ONLY way age matters is legally. In some places, 16 IS legal, in others it's not. My wife is 10 1/2 years YOUNGER than me, and she still can't keep up with me. So, forget the age crap.

And i dont think either one of us will care cause, my parents are 3 years apart and hers are 12 years.

this is what pisses me off..you guys all lost site of the post. this kid isnt interested in how you guys decide what age is alright, or some guy that got pinchd for statuatory rape. hes a hs junior, and shes a frosh, and he wanted to know if that was acceptable.

not some made up useless formula like half ur age plus 7 or some crap.
my fourteen yr old brother can only date other 14yr olds?

if you find a girl who is psychologically mature enough for u to date her...then u can date her.

if the girl throws a hissy fit and tattle tales on you then maybe u shouldnt have been bangin her

labels are labels and numbers are numbers. ive known 17yr old girls that acted like adults and 24yr old women that acted like children. all people are different and life most definately holds shades of grey. use ur best judgement
