Shit. I just looked up my son's band on MySpace. He's a great guitarist, but is producing this band, and records them in my house. All nice guys. I check out their MySpace site, and they've got zillions of HBs sending LOVE. The music and instant Social Proof/DHV of a rocker goes right past the part of the female brain that says "don't fuck" and right into the part of the female brain that says "fuck." Style ruminated on this at the end of the Game, wanting to find a way to create that experience in a girl without being a rock star. Don't think he came up with anything; Mystery's solution is to act and look like a rock star. |
