Some lame HB7 I was chit-chatting with was NEG text-messaging ME. And when I called, not much better. Rule seems to be "The Law of Negativity"--"Negs are neither created nor destroyed they simply flow from one person to another." The very important corollary to "The Law of Negativity" is that "Between a man and a woman who are not friends Negs will always pass from one person to another. If you, as the man, are not firing off Negs, she will fire them off at you and you are castrated." |

This doesn't sound normal. Either she really likes you and is negging you because of it (which I've had happen years and years ago and didn't know what was going on), or she hates you. If it's anything else, something doesn't add up. |

Yeah I agree with L.A. This sounds sort of like two insecure people attempting one upsmanship. How to cut the other down to size. It sometimes leads to places unintended especially in a relationship sense. You don't build healthy relationships taking a shyt on other people as a means of showing affection, verbally or emotionally. You only attract other damaged or emotionally immature people. If that's what you're looking for then that's something everybody needs to examine for themselves. That being said negs in a playful and joking manner can sometimes be useful. When they cross the line into just taking your own personal problems or frustrations with the opposite sex out on somebody else is when they come off as insecure and AFC. Sometimes you just have to consider the source. And refuse to entertain their childish bullshyt. Often this can have the same effect as a neg if commonality has already been established. If there's no commonality I wouldn't waste much of my time trying to establish any. |

Well first off why'd you call her? To me it sounds like you panicked with the texts and thought that the verbal communication would be different... The whole thing sounds AFC and if she just happens to be a real sour person or have been really hurt before or have some emmotional problems then she is just socially disfuntional and your playing into it. Negs should be fun/funny, even when you get one you shouldnt feel upset, confused, or mad. If it feels insulting, then thats probably because it was, even if that was not its intent...When a girl insults you you can respond in one of 2 ways, set her ass straight on the spot...or freeze her out. hope this helps |

I froze her out and she explained that I "came on too strong" and she was "turned off." Her negs were real, and I texted her "good bye and good luck" and deleted her numbers and messages from my cell. She lives far away, I don't like to drive, so I tried to escalate quickly in person last week. It didn't work and I don't care. Just practice and learning. |

This "law" is stupid. Of course she will respond somehow after you neg her, and if this situation happens you have just used wrong type of neg at wrong time. You surely wouldn't let people shit on you. Carpe Diem. |

Actually, she was not responding to any negs when she negged me. I negged her afterwords, fairly gently, but it was futile. She is now 2 girls ago and fading fast....lol. What was her name? LOL. |
