kk, so i not really negged but went cocky/funny on this girl, and i was shocked to see this, its online by the way so its not like i got body language wrong or anything, she IS being sarcastic by the way but i still dont know what to respond best with, i said im gonna have to divorce you and take half of your money, (because she said soemthing about potheads and i said some of my good friends are potheads, and if shes gonna diss my buddies it isnt gonna work out) so then she says pffft bitch we arent married, and i said not anymore we arent, luckily i planned this from the start thats why i got the prenup, and she said "shut up you" i know shes joking but what should i do? |

How the hell does she control him? I think he handled it well. Be careful of cocky and funny when dealing with people online, and never use a neg online. Make good use of the emoticons and use these three when needed for cocky/funny: Smile, Tongue Out, Wink. these will show that you are just playing when your body language and tone of voice can not. Maybe I was exaggerating when i said she controls him but wouldn't it seem like she is controlling the situation/conversation?

I would weave in another thread of conversation. Other than some verbal jousting regarding your pot head friends and your failing pretend marriage, there's no forward motion here. How about, "this is fun, but I'd like to hear your voice? What's you number?" I've never had any trouble getting a number with some low key IMing or emailing. Sometimes I wonder if you guys try too hard with the negging and the reframes, etc. Sneak in under the radar, be nice, friendly, amusing, DHV a bit, and get the number. Just arouse their curiosity a bit. |

IMO she probably meant whatever she said about your pothead friends, people in general who smoke pot, or the drug itself...you know not everyone is into it. Sometimes your gonna have to swallow your pride if you really want a chick, and say things you dont mean... But you stood up for your friends, admirable i guess although i question the grounds its based on (drug use), hopefully your friends have more valuble traits then drug abuse...in any case I think you came back ok, but for some people the whole drug thing is a turn off...i know for me it is as well as smokeing cigs...i mean i can get over cigs but i dont even bother with druggies..instant turn off |

"you are now single bitch!" JK, I agree with neogamer, weave in that thred of conversation. My opionion on this is to get Online turning into real life as quick as possible. Online is a difficult A1, very hard A2 and near impossible A3 with no hope of going to the other stages of M3 unless she is specifically online looking for sex in the first place. I'm no expert but the fact is, with words being only 10% of communication your really only capable of 10% of the frame control. She can take your words anyway she feels like and decide she doesn't like you. |

ya i already have her number this is someone i already know , and someone who i know likes me, it was just a lil msn chat, but about the drug use, my friends are potheads lol i smoke up too but probably quitting now after reading some of these posts haha, but what i dont get is how smoking the odd session is that much of a turn off since i know alot of chicks that get drunk as fuck alot, when smoking chronic isnt nearly as unhealthy as drinking |

that part's easy. While you maybe able to argue that cannabis is better for your body than alcohol is, it's seen as much more taboo than alcohol. this is due to the illegality, and the negative image that has been created around both. However, the negative image around alcohol suddenly disappears once you turn 21, and in many cases, much earlier depending on maturity, location, etc. for a lot of people, cannabis is a lifestyle, and can in some cases, improve their lifestyle. However, it only takes one bad apple to ruin the image for everyone. So that kid you know who's a dumbass and would do stupid shit if he was high or not, and then gets caught creates a negative image for everyone. The negative image is then further strengthened because everyone who smokes does so in private, and usually tries to hide the fact. haha, as you can tell, this topic is rather dear to me. But that's because cannabis has helped out with my life quite a bit, dealing with some things in my life, including chronic pain. Cannabis will probally be a part of my life for the rest of my life, and if a girl can't deal with me smoking a couple times a month, that's her problem. |

yeah i hear you man, the people around here have given it a horrible image, people that do it in private, claim theyve quit and then go blaze seshes by themselves all day haha, there just ashamed, if its something to be ashamed of then its going to get a bad image, hopefully this image will change and people will realize the benefits, i dont think this is gonna happen anyttime soon though, but its always good when you have people who are succesful and what not who do it giving it a good image too |
